Miami Accent Lighting
Accent, spot or display lighting is the type of lighting used to enhance textures, objects and/or certain areas through the use of centralized lights. It is often used in conjunction with general, ambient and decorative lights.
For accent lighting to work effectively it must have at least 3 times more intensity than the general light or any type of light that accompanies it, this will highlight the area or architecture targeted, so that they are the center of attention.
It can be used both indoors and outdoors, with natural and artificial lights. Thanks to the advance in LED lighting technology, it is possible to create accent lighting in a variety of colors and intensities that can be constantly regulated by means of intelligent self-regulating bulbs and spotlights.
Miami Control Dimmers
There are mainly two types of dimmer or light attenuators. The final result is the same, since in both cases the intensity of the light can be regulated gradually and with total precision, what changes is the internal operation of one and the other type of dimmer.
Traditional dimmer: traditional dimmers reduce the voltage so that the intensity with which the light shines is higher or lower depending on the user’s appetite.
LED dimmer: LEDs are very sensitive to changes in current intensity, so it is possible to modulate the brightness of the LED without affecting the current. With this type of light much more electrical energy is saved than with traditional bulbs or spotlights, it is the most modern and advanced option that exists, and therefore, the most recommendable. But, if you do not have LED bulbs installed at home, you should change the installation of these bulbs and replace them with LED bulbs.
